Our family has over 100 years experience in hunting upland gamebirds. We know what great cover the hunter and the bird are looking for. We welcome friends and family to get together at our Preserve and enjoy themselves to our fullest ability. We understand what the Pheasant hunting preserve offering hunts from 1 individual to corporate hunts and dog training available (limited to trainers availability). Our club does not charge membership fees and we charge for the number of birds released. We have fields that range from 35 acres to 640 acres with a total acreage of around 3500 acres. Our fields consist of wheat stuble, CRP, bottom ground with thickets, and much more. One thing that separates us from others is the experience of not sharing fields with others, we have enough ground to have all hunters in a private area with not being crowded. I know what good pheasant habitat is and I am proud to have the properties to share with fellow pheasant hunters. Ive been in business for 15 years and have hunted pheasant since I could legally hunter is lacking and that is trying to find a great place to hunt in today's world of leased and hard to find prime hunting ground.

The rugged chop hills that make Ballyneal one of the top golf courses in the country are now home to a premiere American upland hunting experience. Ballyneal is set in the midst of thousands of acres of native grasses; as well as fields of corn, millet, and sorghum that provide a perfect nesting environment for dozens of varieties of wild birds, dominated by the trophy Chinese ring-necked rooster pheasant. Ballyneal offers exclusive access to this hunting land plus knowledgeable, professional guides and gun dogs that will make your hunt a world-class experience unlike any other.

Black Canyon Wing & Clay is a private upland game bird hunting preserve, offering pheasant and chukar. We have more than 700 acres in Western Colorado - supreme bird habitat and excellent upland geography. Our club is surrounded by BLM land with desert vegetation. Our hard-flying birds stay close to the upland game bird habitat that we plant and maintain.

Our upland bird hunts are not staged in farm field stubble, but in wild land. Choose from creek bottoms, overgrown prairie, thick drainage slews, and brushy pastures. The vastness of our land and the diversity of our terrain allow us to replicate true wild bird hunts, creating a unique and memorable experience. We are open November through February and require reservations in advance. We encourage you to bring your own dogs, but we can also arrange for a private guide and dogs with one day’s notice. We have also set aside specific areas for training your dogs.

Count on Tom and Brenda at Colorado Blue Cliff Pheasants to offer you great upland bird hunting opportunities. We offer both guided and non guided bird hunting packages. Its your hunt so we dont put you with other hunters (solo hunters are welcome) nor do we put a tag along to count birds. No memberships, we trust our birds and service to keep hunters coming back. When Tom sets the birds, we invite a member of your party to come and watch us set the birds and learn the boundaries for the hunt. Located 2 hours from Denver and 1.5 hour from Colorado Springs. Our bird hunting season begins October 1 and ends March 31 or when we run out of birds. Dogs required on all hunts. Bring your own dog/dogs or hunt with we can get an outstanding guides and dog for you. Brendas famous soup served before or after your hunt. We have 1500 acres of land available.

Great Guns can accommodate any group size and any amount of birds. Hunts are 1/2 day starting at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. any day of the week by appointment. Hunters need to order a minimum of six birds to reserve a field. For those hunters without dogs, we can arrange a guided hunt for you. We offer 2 bird packages and also birds a la carte.

A hunting license is not needed to hunt pheasant. We stock commercially raised, flight conditioned birds. They are hunted under natural conditions on a working milo farm.

Kiowa Creek Sporting Club conducts game bird hunts six months a year (October 1 – March 31), providing you with a practical alternative to expensive out-of-state hunts. We eliminate travel time and expenses, such as transportation, lodging, meals and out-of-state licenses, so you can enjoy a complete hunting experience only a few miles from home. Across the country, open spaces that were once available to hunters are disappearing, making it increasingly difficult to find places to hunt. With plenty of prime game bird habitat, you’re guaranteed the opportunity to shoot pheasant, chukar, and quail that have been released for your hunt. At Kiowa Creek, our hunts are guided and may include one of our professionally trained dogs or you may use your own dog. Longmeadow is a family owned lodge and hunting resort located just outside of Wiggins, Colorado about an hour east of Denver and only 45 minutes from DIA. This makes it a perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city but close enough to be back in a flash should the need arise. The Game Resort is comprised of nearly 20,000 acres of prime hunting habitat for Dove, Pheasant, Quail, Chukar, Goose, Coyote, and Prairie Dog.

Rocky Mountain Roosters is a private pheasant hunting facility 30 miles east of Colorado Springs or just about an hour southeast of Denver. Since 1985, RMR has been offering the best pheasant, chukar and quail hunting in Colorado. Dogs and guides are provided at no charge or for the hunter that has their own dog, this is the best palce to hunt and train in the west. Hunts are by reservation only. Introductory non-member hunts are available daily from September thru March.

Steel Fork Pheasants is located in Eastern Colorado and has some of the best Colorado Bird Hunting available, to include Pheasant, Chukar, and Quail. Consisting of 10,000 acres of CRP, creek bottom and agricultural crops, our Colorado Pheasant hunting is fabulous. We at Steel Fork believe that Colorado Bird Hunting should be an all day enjoyable experience the whole family can take pleasure in. Combining a family Colorado Pheasant Hunting outing with the teachings of traditional methods of harvesting ones daily meal is a benefit for future generations of American children.

You will be hunting on the majestic confluence of the East and West Bijou Creeks. The cover is native Colorado grassland, dry creek bottoms, and mature cottonwoods. Pheasants and Bob White Quail are native to this part of Colorado and thanks to aggressive land management and very careful species management we have successful hatches year after year. We also manage and sustain populations of Chukar and Hungarian Partridge.

The wing shooting program at The High Lonesome Ranch is also Orvis Endorsed. Hunt five species of birds in the tens of thousands of acres of pristine upland coverts. Anticipate rising birds that range from the wily pheasant to the covey-oriented chukar and Hungarian partridge. Two species of quail inhabit the property as well – Scaled and Gambel’s – and enthusiasts have an opportunity to hunt our wide variety of hard-flying game birds every day.

Valhalla-Bijou Hunt Club offers 2 hour and 4 hour hunt packages, with a variety of cover. Choose between four different realistic hunting areas, each with their own set of challenges. We have a wooded creek bottom with native grass cover, willows, and a pond. Our other hunting areas are wide open native grass that includes sections of CRP type cover. Morning hunts start at 8:00 and our afternoon hunts start at 1:00. All hunters are required to wear hunter orange in the field, and proper hunting attire.
